"Our cottons are hand block printed by artisans with natural dyes using centuries old,
traditional hand-block printing techniques.
Characteristics such as imperfections, variations or irregularities in print/motif and color are
not flaws; they are fundamental aspects of the handmade process. Every hand block printed piece
is Unique.
Please understand that our fabric is dyed and hand block-printed using natural organic elements
(vegetables, plants & minerals etc). The dye might crock (color transfer that occurs when the
fabric rubs against another surface) or bleed color (when immersed in water) especially the
INDIGO color.
We have managed to mitigate the crocking & bleeding of all our naturally dyed, hand block
printed fabrics except that of Indigo.
Clients are recommended to wear naturally dyed Indigo fabrics with garments of similar or darker
tones.
Naturally dyed fabrics age (fade) gracefully with time. The longevity of their color and print
can be increased by taking the recommended measures to preserve their beauty.
Hand block printed fabrics created using natural dyes are a time-honored, traditional piece of
art and should be kept with the utmost care & handled with love."
